It says Mary is married but no sign of George Layfield in the 1881 Census. Lucy Layfield is with her Grandfather Thomas Layfield in Wath. 1891 Mary is still noted as married at spring house but no sign of George. Grandchildren Silvestor age 8 born Bewerley & Lydia age 2 born Stonebeck Down are with Mary. 1901 Mary now stated as Widow in Spring House.
