- Richard and Charlotte start baptising children in Pateley Bridge 1814.
There is however one burial in Masham in 1809 Richard age 10 so born c.1799 ? [son of Richard & Charlotte].
Not sure if this is the same Richard and Charlotte ?
I initially thought Richard was the one baptised in 1797 at Masham son of John and Mary of Ellingstring: see also DNA notes ?
Looking at the occupations and movements I believe this is a Traveller family also noted are later associations with other Gypsy / Traveller families such as Lowther - I have tried the obvious places in Cumbria but can find no evidence of any marriage for a Richard Howard and Charlotte ? see notes for Richard Howard baptised at Fewston - currently living in Natland, Kendal, Westmorland. There are Howard records in Kendal dating back to the 1500's
If the burial of Richard in 1809 is the same family I estimate the dob is 1774 there is a baptism in Kendal for a Richard Howard son of William & Margaret at Kendal.
However with lack of traditional records and more YDNA tests from Howards for this Cluster I am going round in circles......

The family of William Howard baptised in Masham 1794 son of John & Mary Howard of Ellingstring are found in Little Bolton in the 1851 Census.
