- Awaiting YDNA results - but at the moment I believe this is likely Joseph Armitage baptised 1st Sept 1776 at St Bartholomew's Church, Armley son of Joseph who was the Chapel Clerk. estimated dob c.1751.
Update: YDNA results did not come back as suggested. Via AT DNA there does appear to be a link to other Armitage in the Hunslet area but these are from a different Haplogroup, and AT DNA matches can come from anywhere.
This tree now needs to be very carefully considered and reviewed.
