        Ann claims out relief on 21st November 1878, after death of Joseph. While she is able-bodied, she is reliant on the earnings of her children - the eldest boy earning 2/6 per week, plus his food and her daughter earning 1/- a day. These earnings
        are not enough to maintain her and the family (3 children aged 15, 13 & 7). She is awarded 1/6 per week for 26 weeks.

        20th Feb 1879, she reapplies for further relief, as her eldest boy falls ill (her daughter has left home, so has just the 2 boys aged 13 & 7). She is awarded medical order and given 2lb mutton & 1lb semolina value 1/10, plus 3/6 for 8 weeks.
        She is working as a charwoman and earning 2/- a wk.

        By 25th Sept 1879, she is working as a cook and earning 6/- a wk. The eldest boy has left home. She is awarded 1/6 for a further 26 wks.

        25th March, working as a domestic servant for Dr Paley and earning £18 p.a. her application for further relief is refused. She is now living at St Agnesgate,

        1881: Dr Paley has some live-in servants and Ann is living elsewhere. Not clear if she is still working for the doctor or not.
