In the 1881 Census she is found as a Servant in Bilton, Harrogate using the surname Thackwray and Eliza Thackwray is a Widow Living at Quarry Lane, New Park.
By 1891 Eliza Thackwray has married Joshua Beer and in the 1891 Census it states that Annie Long single age 25 born in Leeds is Adopted.
Annie marries Joshua's son James Beer in 1896.
