- The age of 63 does not fit in with census records but this is the only George Brooks to die in this period. So needs checking.

- In the 1851 Census George states he is from Gisburn in Yorkshire however by 1861 he states Huddersfield. There is a Gisbourne Road in Huddersfield in the Bradley Area.
I have checked the transcribed parish records for the village of Gisburn and there is no record of a George Brooks the records i have stop at 1812.
