- Joseph Brooks often referred to as Joseph Brooks [Jr] was a Slave Trader and was a Co-Owner of the Slave Ship 'BROOKES' He was involved in forty-three voyages between 1770 and 1790. He was also Bailiff of Liverpool in 1784 and 1802.
