  	Athens Richard Lamar Brooks, 58, died Friday, June 19, 1998. A native of Troup County, Mr. Brooks was a son of the late Winifred L. Brooks. He attended Griffin High School and the University of Georgia. Mr. Brooks was employed in real estate for many years and was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the McCullough Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Elliot officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his father, Harvey L. Brooks, Griffin; one brother, Norman L. Brooks, Milner; and one nephew, Adam B. Brooks, Helena, Mont.
