- Obituary from "The Tuskegee News", May 3, 1917
Mr Will Perry Died. For many years the subject of this sketch was known as one of finest carpenters in all of the land. He was a good citizen, living modestly and quietly and at all times setting such an example as the young men of the community might well follow. Some seven years ago his health became exceedingly poor and from that time until his death he was a constant sufferer. He was at all times grateful for the care and attention shown him by the members of the churches, Sunday School, by the Knights of Pythias and by the neighbors. Mr Perry died Sunday afternoon as was buried at Little Texas Monday with the full honors of the Knights of Pythias. He leaves surviving him his widow, three children and two sisters, to all of whom we tender sincere sympathy.
